I rescently changed to broadband and when I try to connect to Limewire, it doesn't work. I've reinstalled the program, established the default ports, changed the connection speed to cable / DSL and yet I still can't connect. While using dial up, there is no problem. What do I need to do to fix it?
Thanks, Aislinn |

Sounds like your DSL connection (assuming you use DSL on the same computer as you are using dial-up) somehow blocks Gnutella traffic. This might be caused by some router/firewall you are using or by your ISP.

call your isp, there is most likely a firewall built into your router, if so, then they can cure that in about 5 min
