I guess I need someone to "lead me by the hand" through this! Frustrating indeed. I am running XP and have not been able to connect at all. I do NOT use zonealarm and the xp firewall is not enabled.

I tried to delete the user file C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire as suggested by someone in the forum, but cannot even locate this file. Via "search" all I can find is .limewire ...Suggestions?

They also said preferences would then need to be reset. Where is this accomplished?

Any other suggestions to get me conected????

I think the file you found is the right one, just delete it like you read and don't worry about your settings; it's just the way that features of limewire act according to what you set or what most people choose. If you didn't go in tools, options and changed things in there you don't have to worry about it. If you did you'll remember what you changed you just have to do it again but limewire migth now work(or your problem will be solved whatever it was originly(forgive my crappy spelling, but you can read it right.....))
