"poor" connection - unable to download
I have downloaded limewire tonight for the first time. My connection is "poor" and I seem unable to download anything. I have a cable modem and I am operating on win 2k. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

As I've already told you, maybe the best thing would be to wait for Limewire to establish a better connection to the network: I used to be Turbo-charged, now I'm Excellent (but it goes from Good to Turbo randomly); it doesn't affect dld speeds.
Anyway, be advised that Cable connections are affected by the physical distance from the server: if the server is too far away, then speeds can be bad. Also, firewalls and stuff like that? Have any?
