Why are you posting this here? It's in the Shareaza forums where people doubt Shareaza's ability to connect to Gnutella or their own crappy network.

I'm posting it here for a data point for whoever is going to fix LWP.
I've paid for LWP for around three years now and it's a bad thing that it doesn't work.

There's obviously a reason why it doesn't work on your setup. Have u ever attempted to find out the reason? There's multiple sections on the forum dealing with various issues that some people face that's related to their particular setups or upon them customising LW properly to suit their setups. Not everybody's comp is the same. Before putting it out to the trash in favor of an app that does Gnutella a lot of damage, why not see why it is that you can't quite set it up for your comp? There's plenty of people around to lend a hand if u have the patience. And after all, u said you'd been using it for 3 yrs. What's a while longer.

LOTR, I disagree. People should use whatever works best for them. There were / are some issues with LimeWire on certain setups that are not fixed easily.

If somebody wants to use Shareaza, he should do so.

I read most of the "can't connect" posts and from what I gather this is a continuing big problem.
