Hello all,
I downloaded Limewire several weeks ago, and it was working fine. I have windows XP home, so I followed the directions online to connect. I am behind a university firewall, but it's a relatively weak one. Nevertheless, everytime since that first time, I have been unable to connect (for weeks now). I have tried deleting and redownloading Limewire, but no go. Everytime I attempt to connect I get the message I'm behind a firewall. I am starting to getting really frustrated. Any help would be very much appreciated ![]() -best Melikepurple |

universities sometimes block p2p and you'd need them to change the firewall settings for the firewall of course. but you might be able to hack it, but I'm not the type to hack in firewalls I don't exactly try to brake in peoples computers or other things of that sort I do other things which I won't mention here... I think some people are more experianced with that on the forums so they'll come around and they'll be able to help you.
or if you know the network admin you could ask him/her, if you don't know him/her it's better not to. they might get mad at you for wanting to download stuff i'm sorry I wasn't able to say anything but info about what universities do |
