It seems all the time when it comes to movies I always get busy or waiting for host.Music I have no problems just movies andything I can do to help this work better.

when you search to you select the ones with many hosts (you'll kno what I'm takin about if you do I just need to check) do you share alot? sharing premotes users to the network.

Movies are a slightly different kettle of fish than songs b/c of their size. If there's somebody who is only allowing one/2 people upld from them, & a dialup user is dwnlding a 4-800MB movie, then imagine how long it's going to take them at 2-6 kb/s! Simple arithmetics really. It would take them many days. And then, the source may be offering a no. of uplds from them but it's being shared by many people, then it becomes a similar story. There's probably many more sources for songs than there are for videos (a major point!) But, I'm sure you will occasionally strike it lucky & get good connections & speeds.

How do you tell how many users. I am new to this and only have about 29 files to share. I see under the number sign it list a number and I assumed that is what you are talking about.I appreciate all your help !!

Sharing over 20 files is fine. Although I should admit there are some people who filter out those who shae less than 5, 50 or 500 files for eg. so the moer you share the better chances you have to be able to connect to sources you couldn't before. If you're put into a queu, try searching again to see if you can find more sources. Then you'll have a better chance of connecting. Also if people are uplding from you & most people will agree from experience that at those times you are able to connect to more peers & thus get much better search results & get better connections.
