Default more sources freezes lw ????

when i click find more sources it freezes lw for about 30 second or so sometimes up to two minutes. any ideas finally got it to work after all the firewall crap, but now this????????

Mine does that - I thought it was just because my computer is slow, I was selecting a lot of files at the same time and the program is written in Java.

Don't overdo it. Select a few at a time if you're going to use that technique (find more sources.) The healthiest way is to either wait until LW settles down after opening in which case (if it's properly configured) should be able to have some files start (continue) dwnlding anyway. If not, some manual searching. Yes Java is the mother of all evil, it has wrecked havoc b/c it's an imperfect softw. Java is also known to have a bit of a memory leak. So just a suggestion to not overdo things. Freezing is no doubt Java's fault (it always was at fault when it did this to me.)
Another point, if you choose force resume, don't do it to too any files or it'll potentially wreck havoc with your connection quality by stealing all your upld bandwidth.
