would someone please help me. I just downloaded LW and i can't figure out how to connect. I re-adjusted my firewalls and it still won't connect. It just shows one bar turning green and then disconnects me again. What do i do??

When LW is open, click Tools->Options & go to Bug report & click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session". If it says ‘True’ then LW has no problem with firewalls, but if 'False' it still does have a prob.

If you have macosx that's LW's Prefs-Bug Report & for Mac OS9 that's Options-Bug Report.

Please post back & tell us whether your result is True or False. Also tell us your OS version, connection type, type of firewalls & routers, ram, java version, & where you're trying to connect from, eg: from home, school, work, etc.

well first off, thanks for the help. Secondly, i did what you said and it read "false." So whatever that means, and i am running Mac OS X v. 10.3.3 and my java v. 1.4.2_03. Once again, thanks for the help, but i can tell i am going to need a lot more.
