| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 When LW is open, click Tools->Options & go to Bug report & click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session". If it says ‘True’ then LW has no problem with firewalls, but if 'False' it still does have a prob. If you have macosx that's LW's Prefs-Bug Report & for Mac OS9 that's Options-Bug Report. Please post back & tell us whether your result is True or False. Also tell us your OS version, connection type, type of firewalls & routers, ram, java version, & where you're trying to connect from, eg: from home, school, work, etc.  |
