Unhappy no connection using Mac OS 9

Can anyone help? I have done the recommended MJR 2.2.5 install and have no results. It says it is connecting and never does. I have restarted and thrown away preferences. I wish I would have known it wouldn't work before I purchased it. The basic version worked on my computer. Cansomeone PLEEEEASE HELP?

1. (A) Have you checked with your isp to make sure they don't block p2p use?

1. (B) Where are you connecting from (home, school, work, etc.)?
2. What type of connection do you have?
3. This is very important: Can you tell us the brand name & model of your modem-router.
4. Do yo have any firewalls?
5. Which OS 9 version do you have? (eg: 9.1, 9.2.1 or 9.2.2)
6. Which version of LW do you have?

You can check with yur isp provider by telephoning their support & asking them about their policy.

For OS 9.2.2 you might want to install Java MRJ 2.2.6 for OS 9.2.2

Zoom do produce modems with internal firewalls. It would be helpful to both of us if you can find ut the model number.
