unable to install w/ Windows XP despite following firewall instructions The following message appears when I try to run LimeWire: "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\LimeWireWin.exe is not a valid Win32 application" The message has a red "x" (error message?) I have Windows XP-home edition-Version 2002-Service Pack 2 and DSL from Pac Bell. Although I'm not technologically(sp?) brilliant, I followed the instructions from this forum re: disabling firewall/adding TCP & UDP ports easilly enough. However, message still appears. Limewire icon is found on desk top, but when I check add/remove programs in control panal Limewire is not among them. Help....me.....someone....? Thanks, angsj@yahoo.com |
