 Connection problems again... Im still un-answered! Windows XP Home Limewire 4.2.6 256MB RAM 75% Free Hard Drive 576kbps Modem Device Name: Alcatel Speedtouch USD ADSL PPP Device Type: isdn Server Type: PPP Transports: TCP/IP Authentication: MD5 CHAP PPP Multilink Framing: Off Compression: None Server IP Address: 62.253.189.142 Limewire won't connect, only stays on the one green bar 'Connecting...' I think i have a dynamic ip address and settings, therefore my personal changes and settings that i have made change automatically. Tried all of the standard tips, deleted .limewire, Changed compatibility settings - have changed ip settings to accept all Gnutella components but like i said, my dynamic ip may prevent this. Having problems upgrading java - no real progress happens when i follow links. Im also unable to 'Run As' and choose Administrator as it requires a password, and the admin on my pc does not have a password. ? Thanks in advance.  |
