Hi,
I'm having a problem with Limewire disrupting my internet connection. I don't have any other program that causes this problem. Any ideas? I have a cable connection behind a Norton Firewall. |

Are you running as an Ultrapeer (UP)? You can check by going to Tools>Options>Speed & seeing if it's been disabled or not.
Does your modem operate as USB or ethernet? If you have a choice, choose ethernet. Decrease your uploads to about 70-80% (Tools>Options>Uploads>Basic & then press Apply.) Don't run two p2p apps simultaneously (at least for those that share files.) |
