Unhappy access
I have been tring to access limewire for about 2 days now and the only thing I can get is "Enabling Open Information Sharing" screen. Am I doimg somthing wrong? It used to work fine. I have a sony vaio laptop PCG-K33. Help please???

I am using limewire 4.4.0 and I keep getting an "enabling open information sharing" I don't know what is causing it and can't seem to fix it

Did you try the fixes? I'd suggest you re-install it/use the newer LW 4.4.1

Don't do anything else with your computer when you install. It needs your comp's 100% attention.

but isn't that the basic free ware version of the program. I tried the fixes and still have no access

If you're a pro user you'll find the link on your personal downld page. Version no.'s are the same.

Uninstall it & install the newer version.

So deleting your preferences folder whilst LW was closed didn't help?
