 limewire can't search due to connection can not search I tried leaving it connected for 1 hour and still the same message "search may not produce any results because limewire is not fully connected" am using dialup help me please  |

| After opening LW, let it settle for 10 to 20 mins before doing anything. Also on dial-up, do not & I stress do not use the Resume function to try to get your incomplete files started. This function has side effects which can play havoc with LW's connection quality & use up all of LW's resources. Using the search function to find your topic again is the best & most effective way. Some tips: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints.
