Do you play advanced games? I have heard of issues with directx.

I don't use a screensaver and yes I play games as you can see from my desktop :) but they all work fine and I have had LW since getting them and it worked... I just tried it again and it WORKED so I closed it and then tried to open it again and blank screens. I kept trying LW and I could probably get it to open and function right about 1 out of 5 times. Does this sound as weird to you as it does to me?

My LimeWire is doing it again!!!!!!! I just updated to the 4.6 version and I can't get it to open. It does the exact same thing as before.

Just a thought (this has worked for many b/c for some reason one version of Java works better than another.) Install Java 1.4.2 instead: Sun 1.4.2: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html (Choose the JRE) See if this makes any difference. ;)

Hello again. That seemed to have worked although it seems tempermental. Most times it will work but every now and then it gives me trouble. I don't understand it but thank you for helping.

I wonder if it's your graphics card. See: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=34408 & if you've played games have you changed any settings. These 2 things have resulted in other people having this issue (not to mention Java.)

Thanks for the suggestion. The exact same thing that happened to that guy happened to mine too so I'll try to update my video card drivers.
