I have downloaded two differents forms of this program (Limewire1.6d, and Limewire Win Test) and I cannot connect on either one of them. I followed your directions when I downloaded Limewire the first time. And the second time, and I still can't connect. What is the problem?

If you are on a home PC and don't know what this is, don't worry. You won't have one unless you installed one, and it is rare for a home user to do this. Windows doesn't come with a firewall, and storebought computers don't have them either.

What are your basic hardware specifications? How do you connect to the internet?

i use aol to connect, but so does a friend of mine, and his works fine, what is the damn problem?

LimeWire is the problem. It can really rot and stink on some computers. Sorry!

Check out BearShare.com. It's a good program that runs on the same network (gnutella).
