cannot connect.. java problem?
I could not find the answer to this problem anywhere else, and if it is, I apologize, could you be nice and give me the link?
The first time I installed LimeWire it always got stuck on "installing java", right before it froze, so i looked up the problem and downloaded "Java 2 Runtime Environment", and after a little more hassle I finally downloaded LimeWire! Yay! Right before the installation, it did say something like "could not find java, please download program in order for limewire to work", but i downloaded it, i looked it up on my program list, its there! Now LimeWire won't connect, it just freezes when I attempt. Any suggestions? Thanks. P.S. I do have a firewall, but i already disabled it for LimeWire. I dont know much about computers so I will just give you what I have. Windows XP Linksys Access Point Router Alcatel Modem DSL connection ISP: Bluewin (well it is if im right about what ISP means  )And thats about it. My suggestion is to install Java 1st! Java 1.5 (take the JRE)
Then download your LW installer to your HDD where you should save it. Then install LW.

Oh so its not the same thing. My bad.
Now when I try to download it wont download because "another installation is in progress" even though i have no other programs running. Thats bad, right? Thanks.
