I actually figured out how to do the screen shot. Quick question, under task manager, there are several different folders. which one did you want a screen shot of? applications, processes, performance, networking, or users?

Where you ask me to go to the connection tab, I don't know what that is or where that is.

I believe et voila wanted a snapshop of -- processes

In LW 1) view 2)show/hide ---- highlight connections --- click

There should be a connection tab showing now.

humm. You are probaly aware that you are NOT showing all the 53 processes in that screenshot, so it doesn't help...

BUT, you have two simultaneous instances of limewire.exe, which isn't normal. Close ALL the processes of limewire.exe by selecting those progresses and click "end process". Then start LW, go in connection tab, and if it doesn't connect, post here a screenshot of the connection tab.

It might be worth doing a computer search to see if there is more than one version/copy of LW on your compuer. Or if it's just one version of LW running twice.

Only one version on my computer - again, I uninstalled everything and reinstalled and deleted the processes (yes, was aware that I wasn't showing everything but I had to keep shrinking so that it met the size requirements). Here's my screeenshot.

I see you have norton antivirus in the processes. It might be the problem, look there to configure it for LW (in short you'll have to allow access to limewire.exe to the internet) http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...&osv=&osv_lvl=

Are you also positive you configured LW to connect on start? Go in options -> Connections-> the option there sould be checked and apply.

You have a lot of processes running I would recommend some things to you:
1)get rid of popupbegone and explorer and get a real web browser like firefox (google it, free)
2)get an anti-spyware program such as adaware or spybot (google them, they are free as well)
