I am connected to 3 ultrapeers each time I start limewire. I connect right away. I set up port forwarding on my router and thats not a problem. I also configured XP firewall as well. I connect no problem. But when I search I can't get a single search result. I previously used bearshare and shareaza and both worked fine. I have InsightBB as my internet service provider. Someone please help me out. All I have heard are great things about this program and would love to give it a try. Thanks

It is possible that LW is simply not coming up with any results. Try searching for a very common artist, such as The Beatles. If there is actually a problem with LW or you are having an issue with your firewall, I can't really help you. Try consulting your firewall/router user manual. Good luck.

I tried dissconnecting my firewall completely and hooking my pc up to the cable modem itself. That didn't fix the problem. So obviously there is nothing wrong with the firewall. I tried searching for very common artists like eminem, 50 cent, and others.

I'm sorry I guess I don't know how to help you then. Hopfully someone else will see this. Have you tried searching the forums already?

Oh Krap when I hear of insight users ... please see ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire Sorry to tell you but they target LW to filter or block! I feel so sorry for these users who get secretly betrayed by their own isp providers. If you can use bearshare without problem then it might be a good idea to stick with it. Though I have heard of insight also affecting BS after some time of use. I saw that on the BS forums & mentioned elsewhere.

These symptoms are very trademark of insight & many insight users have had this issue over recent months. Insight doesn't filter/block you immediately but after a certain time of use of LW.
