Cool Ghost Surfer

Hi Guys.

Looking for a little help if anybody can help a little lady?

I'm running Ghost Surfer 2005 and trying to run Limewire at the same time. I don't know much about proxys or ports etc, but Limewire doesn't seem to want to connect when I have Ghost Surfer running.

Ghost Surfer is setp up for IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 7212. Limewire was listening on port 6346, but didn't work so tried it on 7212, still nothing.

Anybody able to help please?

Thanks,

Mel :-)

I went here: http://www.tweakxp.com/article14245.aspx & it seems Ghost Surfer will steal all of your bandwidth. On top of that it acts as a type of firewall. So question is how to limit both its use of bandwidth & stop it blocking incoming & outgoing messages using a p2p program. Seems like a conflict of interests.

I don't know the answer but I would suggest you look very carefully at the manual/help & possibly even post at the forum link at the above address to ask how a p2p app & Ghost Surfer can co-exist.
