For windows, close LW, then go to Start menu>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall. This will uninstall the program & its folder.
The LW save & incomplete folders are stored here by default: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared To delete the LW prefs folder see: instructions here: Fixes for Limewire For mac osx, just drag & drop the LW program folder into the trash.

Thanks for trying but there is no uninstall icon banner when I click on the LimeWire icon in the programs menu that's why I came here. So what do I try next. I'm stumped. Dax

It depends on which Limewire version you have. LW 4.4 earlier versions used Add/Remove control panel to remove unless they were the 'so-called' international version. This has an uninstaller within the LW program folder. Likewise for the newer versions, if you can't find the uninstaller in the start menu then go to the actual LW program folder. You should find one there. Post back if there isn't one there.
