Eric808 the usual issue that causes that for OSX is the Java. OSX's Java is not the best to say the least. And often what happens is updates via the net cause the Java to be broken or the update has bugs. Two answers I can think of are to repair your permissions: SAFE Boot & Repair Permissions & re-installing Java using the Standalone installer (ie: you downld the installer & install it manually.) You said you'd been to the LW site but did you see the link for Mac OSX issues with their Java?
