need help identifying connection speed
Hi,
I am new to Limewire and have a modem/wireless router(broadband) and Charter high speed internet. When I download files at Modem speed they are quite slow but at speeds like T1 and T3 and Cable/DSl(im sorry I don't really know what those mean...im dumb) my downloads are faster. I am not sure which speed I have. Can anyone help?

The official speeds are as follows:
1. What speeds are T1/T3, etc. for LW, 2. More on LW connection speeds But there's some people who set their speed to the incorrect setting for hope of .... lol  a better reception from users I guess!
