I have a long list of updates done to my computer, but reading throught I think I may have found where the problem lies.. I did a Windows Share Level Password update.

ok sry for not replying so long but i think im going to try to erase my entire C: and install a new windows 98 into it so ill be bak to were i was wen limewire was working. does any1 think this could work?

I do not know that reformating is going to help. There have been some people having trouble with rogers lateley. If you did change somthing in your settings then reformating will definatley get everything back to oringnal set up. I wish you luck

before i reformat my comp id like to try one last option. im thinking about getting limewire pro but im not sure if the same thing will occur since they are both part of the gnutella network. if i get limewire pro wud i be having the same problems?

Well I would recomend LimeWire Pro but no it will not fix the problem the only diffrence in pro and basic is that pro will get 5 connections when running in leaf mode the fifth connection will give you 20% more search capability = 20%more results = 20% more conections. I think the problem you are having is either settings or you ISP. But I am not shure.

Save your pro download page and all your information to disk before you reformat or you will lose it and you will need it to DL pro again after you reformat

If he's a pro user & he retains his email from customer support then he will still have the link to his downld page. He can also make a backup of his pro downld. Just don't trash that email. Else you'll need to refind it via a user pro page search via your email.
