 Limewire closes almost instantly Hi, Each time I open Limewire it loads up until about the point the tip of the day comes up, then the whole program shuts down. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the .limewire folder, and I don't have a repair option. Here is my information: Operating System : Windows XP Service Pack 1 Firewall : None that I know of unless my router has a built in firewall Ram : 256 Mb DDR Hard Disk Space : 25.7 Gb Available Connection type : DSL Router : US Robotics Router model number USR8054. I have a U.S. Robotics 802.11g Wireless Adapter Connection From : Home Version : I have Limewire Version 4.9.11 and Java version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_04-b05) ISP : Verizon Online DSL Attempts : I've downloaded Limewire many times and tried many of the fixes. Problem Started : I have never been able to actually use limewire, the problem has occured every time I open limewire.  |
