you were one of the lucky ones mine is still disconnecting now, the best i can get is a good connection and that rarely lasts.

i am new to this to but the soundest advice would be to go to the homepage and make sure you have the up to date version and have you tried checking your firewall see instructions here

thats all ive done, yesterday i had trouble connecting after 1600 gmt today at this moment getting turbo connection good download speed, i will check later but evenings seem to be really bad i just wondering if its sheer volume causing the problems

lw pro had been running fine sice last week when i got it and nothing has changed re firewalls or anything else, so i don't know what else to try.

ok so i know this is obvious but it worked for me.
open limewire
go to help
click using limewire
click on help for the version you have
click on the lost lw or need update (NOT ON THE ENTER EMAIL FOR SUPPORT)
fill in email and click submit
click on the system you are running and step by step instructions come up. you may find it easier to print them out so you can go through it without moving windows out of the way.
THIS WORKED FOR ME HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.
