Default It's not working with a router

I've used LimeWire and I know how to get it to work. Yet recently a router has been installed on my computer, and it doesn't say that it has connected to the internet, just a local area connection. And LimeWire seems to have a problem with this, so it says it can't find a connection and can't search for new things to download, but it downloads the things I have told it to download before the router was installed. Can anyone help me with this problem?
My version is 4.9.11 and the connection is ISDN.

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

1: If that just windows, because if that's it then it's Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (EDIT: Ah, forgive my not-smartyness with this. OS just slipped my mind. I need more sleep.)

2: I have te windows and Trend Micro 2005 ones on now, and they havn't been a problem pefore.

3: The original RAM was 500 and something megabytes, I can't remember but it's the standard. But I changed it by changing hard drive memory into RAM so now it's 1349M

4: 9.35 Gig

5: ISDN

6: Modem is Telstra NT1 Plus II, router is D-Link DI-804HV

7: Home

8: LimeWire version is 4.9.11 and JavaScript is 1.4.2_05

9: Testra Bigpond

10: Yes, it's sharing with a laptop (hence the router). The other computer, I don't know anything about it

11: It came up with 'Your test worked!'

But this problem mainly seems to be that LimeWire can't tell that my local area connection is really more like an internet connection.

And what do you think about Telstra going private. No don't answer that.

Yes I also use a D-Link router but a different model. D-Link don't use UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) which means it can't communicate with programs that need particular ports to be opened. Thus, you will need to manually forward (open) a port. The most important step here is setting up a Static ip which you must do 1st or else it won't work after you reconnect.

Steps: 1. Set up a Static ip. 2. Forward Port 6346; see instructions for both of these steps here: Port Forwarding for the Dlink DI-804 HV Version 2.00

3. Within LW: Manual port forward instructions & sample image & 2 posts after that.

BTW if you intend to use LW on both comp's, you'd need to forward a different port for the other computer.
2 comp's can't use the same port when port forwarding is used.

Also, if you have a 2nd firewall, then disable your XP firewall. 2 firewalls can interfere with each other; go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box.

And configure your Trend firewall to allow Limewire & thru port 6346 if that's an option. I don't have instructions for Trend but I'm sure you'll know how to do it. Other instructions are here Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
