Question User accounts (wierd

I'm running windows xp with two accounts (both admins), I am able to connect limewire with one account but not the other. firewall and norton program internet access is the same, I've tried deleting the limewire profile for the account that cant connect as suggested in forums but that doesn't work.
Can anyone help me?

I would look at how the settings are for the account not connecting. I believe that your anti viruses aren't configured right... (ie you have to allow access to the net for LW)

Ciao

Thanks for your reply, i did that, norton is set to allow internet access on for lw in the user account that cant connect just as with the one that can. I've even tried disabling norton and xp firewall at the same time and still doesn't work. the crazy thing is aswell even if i create another account (a third account) limewire still wont connect, only on the one account which is the oldest account.

This might not work or do anything good, but try copying the .limewire folder of the working account onto the other account (replace the old .limewire folder).

Tell us if that does anything
