no problem connecting to limewire and downloading through my hardlined PC, BUT my other PC's using a network adapter loose connection when i am connected to limewire.
The PC which connects through limewire uses a linksys network router and the wireless PCs use linksys usb network adapters. The connections go down and i can't seem to reconnect to the internet on the wireless PC's. Any solutions? Using XP home and latest limwire version. |

im current using a wireless connection on my computer because of the wide space in my house plus we dont feel like drillin through the floor to get a connection
But when i try to use the net install it disconnects my network. i can fix my network but limewire wont work if im using the wireless, i was wondering if limewire has any tip or patches and stuff like that, that could maybe fix this problem if they do email me at [email protected] I am currently using windows xp pro edition |

Unfortunately there have been some issues with wireless connections. As more people go to wireless the cure to the problems may be figured out. But as of right now I do not know of any fixes for these problems. My guess is that LimeWire is to efficient and overloading inefficient wireless connections. Other less efficient P2P software may work with wireless networks but LimeWire is apparently having some problems.
There may be someone out there who may be able to help you but most of us or maybe none of us in this forum know of any fix at this time, thus the lack of response. So if you do figure out a fix would you please let us know what it is so that we may help others out that have the same problem in the future. |
