Default Network Error

My Limewire when I try to connect reads (Network Error). I have unistalled, reinstalled Limewire. I only have one firewall running through my antivirus software. I am running windows Vista and Limewire 5. I can also connect to my internet server. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you allowed LW as an exception through your firewall? And have you made sure that the Windows firewall is off?

There are some fixes to try here: If LW 5 Will Not Connect

If nothing helps, please post back with your system details: System details - help us to help you -> Provide these details when you post!!!

The key test here for you is turning off the Firewall altogether (both Windows Firewall and your software firewall) and seeing if Limewire will connect then. If it does, you know this is a Firewall issue and we can continue from there. Please report back your findings. Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you, it was my firewall on my antivirus software that was blocking my connection. Thank You Again.
