I have a bell south dsl connection and i have turned off my xp firewall and limewire says i still have a firewall up. My downloads take days to load one file. I'm kinda new at this so if someone can help I sure would appreaite it

Two things.

2. Perhaps you still have a firewall, norton, zonealarm, those all apply.

I have Mcaffee I closed it down and tried that but it didn't help I also uninstalled all of limewire and reinstalled it and it still is not working

The wierd thing about mine is that its worked perfectly for over a year, then overnight it started showing a firewall... i've done everything!!
