yes my nephew was using limewire to download music to his mp3 player and now when i search for music and download it downloads under mp3 i had where it was downloading under windows media player my friend told me to open windows media player up and it should change back but it didn't work do i open it while limewire is running 9or should i open windows media player before opening limewire

A little punctuation goes a long way lol
![]() In the search window of Limewire you can see an icon column "?" . There is also a column for type. If you can't see it right click on the column header bar and tick "type" . This is more useful than the icon colum and will show which file type you are looking at. You may need to open a file, once downloaded, by right clicking and selecting your player of choice, and then selecting this as your default player. I hope this helps as I was not totaly clear what you meant in your question

I'm guessing they're refering to default program. Anybody's guess, but this is mine. lol
See either or both (a) Setting Default video app, or /& (b) Setting default audio programThen the audio file icons will change to that of your default program, & possibly your video files also. But if you launch a video or audio file then your default program will open to play it anyway. |
