Any time I run Limewire it causes my Linksys modem to lose it's internet connection. I know for a Fact that is it only when I run limewre because I can continously ping say, yahoo.com for two days, and it is ok. However if I run limewore, within five, usualy two minutes, I lose my connection to the internet. As soon as I close limewire my connection restarts, if i catch it soon enough. If I do not close limewire soon enough, I have to reboot the entire modem with the power switch. I am running XP Pro SP2 and Lime wire 4.8.0 through a linksys WCG200 V2, to Comcast internet. I have already tried port forwarding, on several different ports all to the same result. I have even replaced the modem. Any Help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also I appologise if the solution to my problem is somewhere on these boards, however I have become too aggrivated, and impatient to look.

p.s. Limewire does connect, and can download/upload within those few minutes.

I also find that we lose connections plus Limewire consumes all bandwidth regardless of settings changed within Limewire settings which also renders network unusable.

This is the first time I am using the limeware free edition 4.18.
After installing it is not connected with the internet.
I am using the XP and stopped the firewall.
Could you please help to establish the connection.
