New User: Can't update or uninstall .. now it won't work.
I have limewire pro, I tried to update it which didn't work as it kept saying I had another limwire running, to abort. Which I did, now I have lost my icon for limewire, the files are there but I can't delete them. The files are gone from my programs and my add and remove. Right now I can't use it and I can't get rid of it. Does anybody have any ideas as what to do.

The way to uninstall LW is not using the Add/Remove control panel!!!
If you want to simply uninstall it, you would go to Start menu -> Programs -> LimeWire -> Uninstall. But if you re-install, it will remove the previous version at the beginning of the installation process. So I'd suggest you re-boot your computer so that any of LW's activities are stopped. Then try reinstalling.
