Limewire detects firewall.. I have no firewall
I uninstalled my firewall (Zonealarm). Yet I am still getting the "brick in front of the globe" symbol indicating that Limewire detects a firewall...What firewall?!?! It is not allowing me to search

I guess from your email address (please don't post them, against forum rules) that your ISP is Optimum Online?? Users have been having heaps of problems lately. Look around this page & you'll find several threads from frustrated users. Use the search button to look for Optimum Online & you'll probably find loads more
 I think that the source of your trouble is most likely OO, rather than LimeWire!
