Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

But maybe your router has (that's just one possibility), though they haven't written anything about it in the product description. Does the small globe left down in the LW window show a brickwall?? Another possibility would be that your ISP shapes the bandwidth you're using (which is the case with mine and I'm in Thailand). A straight call to them could clear this (though it took me several calls until they admitted doing so). It just wonders me that you get a turbo charged connection and after a couple minutes it goes down to 'poor connection'. I guess you've read about deleting the " .limewire " folder when LW is complete closed?!? Windows: C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire Since you haven't mentioned this one: Within LW, go tools > options > bug reports > view example. Scroll down to 'received incoming this session'. Is it true or false? (which would be a sign that a firewall blocks you, though you do believe not to have one) If this test comes out to be false you can follow this link to see what to do next (I actually looked at those links included there and didn't find your router under those supporting UPnP): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...outer+firewall
