After loading the updated version, I lost connectivity. None of my Zone Alarm settings have changed. Limewire has full permission, however it does not connect to the network. The older version worked.

Go through the sticky at the top of the page. The first part "... check here first". Make sure your firewall's configured. Do the port test. Enable UPnP if your router supports it.
What are your details OS(Win XP etc) LW & Java version (help > about LW & you'll see) Firewall you're using Modem/router brand & model ISP Connection type (DSL etc) Where you connect from (home, school etc) Are you sharing a connection with other computers Is this your first try with LW |

First, since my previous version of LimeWire Pro worked without a hitch, I am suspicious of the 4.10.9 update. With that said, here's some info:
1.) OS=Windows XP Profession SP2 2.) Java=1.5.0_06 3.) Firewall=ZoneLabs Internet Security Suite v.6.1.744.001 4.) Router=Linksys Broadband Router RT31P2 5.) Connection Type=Time Warner Road Runner Cable Service 6.) Connect From=Home -Enabling UPnP in the Router did nothing to resolve the problem. -Putting the Router in the DMZ did nothing to resolve the problem. -Disabling ZoneAlarm did nothing to resolve the problem. -Pinging LimeWire servers came back as host not found. -Pinging Yahoo! (68.142.226.32) was successful. -My iTunes, Firefox Brower and Trillian utilities all connect. |

Forget the help. I removed LW version 4.10.9 and the JRT Version 5 Update 6 and replaced it with LW version 4.9.11 and JRT Version 5 Update 4. Everything works fine now. Version 4.10.9 seems to have a bug, probably with the JRT update.
