| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 Most of the time really fast but sometimes slow. Hi Everyone, Can someone explain why this happens. When I'm connected to peers or leaves my downloads are really fast and I have many connections (75+) within minutes. But if i'm connected via Ultrapeer (5 hosts max.) my downloads are slow and searches are few. In most cases If I am connected via Ultrapeer I try to disconnect and keep my fingers crossed for peers or leaves. Last night I had no luck getting connected to them, It always connected me to Ultrapeers which is really slow. Is there a way to default to peers and leaves? | I think it has something to do with searches from leaves and other ultrapeers being routed through your computer, but you can disable ultrapeer in the LW options. In LW go to Tools>Options>Speed, then tick the box by "Disable Ultrapeer Capabilities" then click apply. You may need to restart LW for this to take affect but that will keep LW from connecting as an UP  .
