hi, does anyone know how I can configure limewire to work with my router?

yes go to Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewall Config and chek the radio button for: Use UPnP (recommended)

if that dont work then it mite be ur firewall

i dont think it is the firewall as I have tried that and still nothing, I'm using mcafee, I've even tried disabling it but it's still the same so im sure it's the router.

duz always it say "Starting Connection"

lol ive just gone back onto limewire and it's now saying it's not behind a firewall or router now, well strange. it was my downloads they were really slow or it would disconnect by itself and i know it wasnt limewire cos ive only just got a router I had a modem b4 and I had no problems. Thanx for ur help.

reinstall java. i did dat and it worked fine
