Hi all of u!

I`ve used LimeWire for a while now, and saw a couple of days ago it was a new version available. I downloaded it, and now it doesn`t work properly.

I start it up, and everything seemes ok. It download files and I can search for files, etc.. Until I open other windows, of any kind, or minimize LW. When maximize/restore LW again, the whole program turns up all white, and I ain`t able to do anything. Even not close it.. Have to Do the Ctrl + Alt + Delete move to close it.

Have tried to delete both LW and all Java, as described in the forum, all without help.

Is there something wrong with the new version of LW?

Can anyone please help me?

1. Try steps 1-3 here Fixes for Limewire. BTW The newest LW needs at least Java 1.5 unless you have graphic card issues.

2. Check A. The way to fix the Blank screen on startup & B. GeoForce 3D setting

Well.. Don`t know what of those things helped me, but it seemes to work so far at least..

Didn`t find the hidden files u were talking about.. So, I suppose it will crash again.. You`ll hear from me if it does..

I have the same problem. Fixes on forum did not help. Anyone have another idea.

Try changing skins. If that doesn't help then supply your details: System details - help us to help you
