Take over, somebody. I'm in the middle of moving and will be going offline for a while.

Well i've fixed the problems. Though it still reports that Panda Firewall is still there. And i've disabled windows firewall, and LW still reports a firewall. I'm not running under a router. Maybe its the ISP? (Verizon) I still can't connect though.

[EDIT] I decided to scan again and those same problems are there again. Fixing them doesent seem to help.

In that case go to Norbie's world and post a log there. I do not know enough about it and Aaron will be offline for a while. You can get to Norbie's world by clicking on the blue Icon by my Sig at the bottom of this post.

I upgraded to 4.12 and have tried everything but to no avail. I have read every thread I could find and tried everything.....I have Win XP Pro and am using that firewall. My old version of LW worked but now I have nothing....I have tried to give it plenty of time and that doesnt seem to work either. Help??

You need to give a bit more info here!
Tell us what fixes you've tried that didn't work.

Did you double check your Win firewall configuration? How did you have your router set up when LW was working... did you have UPnP enabled or were you port forwarding? Have you gone back through your router config again & double checked things? Do you see the firewall icon? Does the port test work? Do you have any green connection bars at all? Are you getting any error messages?

What are your details (as per post #2)?

still not working

OK....I tried to disable my XP firewall and I also tried the directions for allowing exceptions and putting the right port # for TCP and UDP connections. My router settings have never changed...it is the Actiontec 1524SU and my ISP is Qwest....as far as I can tell Qwest is not blocking anything at all. I do see the firewall icon and it doesn't go away after I disable XP firewall. I am running AVG Free but no firewall. The port test does not work so I put in port 6346 and that didn't work either. My other computer which is a laptop is runing side by side this system and running 4.12 no problems. I have tried to duplicate all of the settings I have on the laptop but still no luck connecting. I went through my actiontec setup and nothing is different. I get one green connection bar and it says connecting to LW but never gets there....no other error messages.

Thread Hijacked??

Anyway. Mine works now. It was all due to Panda's crappy prog's. Had to contact them directly to get rid of their firewall. That was the problem. Panda gets my Worst Uninstaller in the World Award. (As I needed 2 seperate uninstallers directly from panda). Now this makes me pissed that their crappy firewall blocked most of my most used programs (ie. games, lw,) For over 5 months.. >.<

What does "Thread Hijacked??" mean?
