I checked my firewall, and it's not even on. It wasn't before I tried to fix it. I thought you ment a brick wall when I downloaded it. I'm sorry. I had no problems downloading it. The first time I tried, it said it was corrupt, so I downloaded it again and it worked fine. I dont know what to do.

If it was a hardware firewall (e.g. your router or even your ISP) Limewire should be able to open anyway and just not connect

There is no need to be running with no firewall. You can add Limewire.exe as an exception instead of turning it of. You will be leaving your PC open for malware when on the internet if you do have it turned off
