I looked at other firewall threads and followed firewall instructions at this site http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml But, I'm still blocked by a firewall, and I disabled Windows Firewall. Can someone please help me?

LW might be detecting a firewall within your modem/router. Check out the thread below, it has heaps of info about enabling UPnP & port forwarding to overcome the problem

Are you sharing a connection with other computers

Connection: wireless (I get a signal from someone else in my neighboorhood, and they have Linksys.)
Firewall: Windows Firewall (disabled)
Connecting from: Home
Sharing: no
First try with Limewire: No, I have this same program on my desktop pc and it works perfectly.
LW version: 4.12.6
Operating system: Windows XP

If you have it on your desktop and it works there, then try comparing the settings in Limewire to see if there is any difference in how it's set up

Could you also tell us what the settings are for your firewall configuration ?

It's under Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewall Config
