 You should contact the computer admin & find out what the college's policy on p2p use is. Lots of schools do block p2p use. Do this test, see if it works. If the test doesn't work then LW's default port is blocked. http://www3.limewire.com:6346 Do other people there use p2p? You could try changing port numbers but if the school's anti-p2p, there's a good chance they'll monitor all ports. So talk to admin & if other people are using p2p, find out how they've managed to get things working   |
