Sounds like a virus, see point 4 in the thread below
WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of If you need help getting rid of it, go to Norbiesworld & follow the directions for free computer help  Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & scan all downloaded files before opening!

my limewire is always opening up on its own after i exit out, even if there is nothing downloading. how do i stop this.
