Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Choose a port between 49152 - 65535. A good one to try is which will need to be added to both the router's port forward rule, as well as LW's manual PF setting.

BTW I hope neither norton or avg include firewalls ... only one should be used otherwise less security and hidden problems because they will clash if more than one software firewall.

i tried steps (a) and (b) and still nothing

. help!!!
