I figured it out, I had 2 fire walls. I disabled one and walaaa! Thanks so much for helping me Lord of the Rings

The connection device might be next to the other computer on the lan. Is it broadband, cable, satellite connection?
Edit: Excellent!!!   So what was the other firewall?
