You could try changing the listening port back to 6346. But first, do this test & see what result you get. If that test doesn't work, means that LW's default port is blocked.

Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall)?

You need to read through this sticky
Connection problems? Check here first!
There's a lot of info in there. Most of it's not too technical, just go through it slowly

If you're stuck, post back with your details. Post #2 of the sticky shows the info we need.

Plusnet are on the list of ISPs known to block or filter p2p, check out the link below. If you use the forum search to look for Plusnet, you'll find more info!

You could try changing to a higher port (even though the test worked for 6346). Try one in the range of 49152 - 65535. You'll need to change LW's listening port, ports allowed within your software firewall & any ports forwarded through your router.

I tried what u said ,but still no luck.
Did u mean try every number between 49152 - 65535[I hope not].
If I leave firewall off ,i wouldnt have to change Port settings in the firewall settings ,would I ??.Just in listen in port in limewire?
Any other Ideas[Change ISP he said LOL]
