is the static ip the ip adress of you comp?????? also on the page where you setup the static ip.. i dont know which is the static ip

When you typed ipcongig/all into the command box & all those things like IP address, default gateway, DNS Servers etc showed up....that's the info to use when setting up your static IP. Once you're into the Internet Protocol properties page (via clicking on Network Connections etc), put the IP address that you first saw in the command info.

Sorry but I'm not sure what you mean about connect to your ISP. I'd contact them by phone. ????

If you're getting a bit lost with the static IP don't panic. Are you using the directions from portforward.com?

Follow them, get to the stage where you have all that info showing in the black command page, then copy it somewhere or print it. That way, you can have all the info at hand when you go to do the static IP setup & it'll hopefully not be too confusing.
